Share
We all love sweet, tasty Brussel sprouts at this time of year but have you tried with sweet honey and balsamic glaze? They are absolutely delicious - so pop on your favourite Cream Collection Lifestyle apron and let's get cooking!
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 680 g of Brussel sprouts, trimmed and ready to cook.
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 220 degrees c
- Slice the little stem off the end of the sprout and peel an outer layer if it is damaged or tough.
- Cut Brussel sprouts in half lengthwise
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and tumble with a wooden spoon so they are evenly coated
- Spread out on an oven tray.
- Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Allow cooling for about 5 minutes
- Enjoy
As always these are served with a yummy roast - lamb is always a lover of a sweet green vegetable accompaniment but for all of our lovely non-meat eaters out there - why not roast some beautiful winter pumpkin and sprinkle it with crushed pistachio nuts and honey.
Oh … you had better leave your apron on - because you are going to get messy when noshing down this beautiful Winter treat.
